Nathan Neilsen-Lutheran South Academy and Kristine Kelly-Pasadena High School were selected at the Outstanding Competitors of the 2004 Rayburn Aquatics Carnival. Kelly won eight gold medals, including four gold medals in finswimming in this high school combined finswimming and swimming competition.
